Gillingham goalkeeper Simon Royce has ended doubts about his future by signing a new one-year contract.
Royce's contract at Priestfield had expired and it was uncertain whether the veteran shot-stopper would be staying with Mark Stimson's side.
The 37-year-old was initially unhappy with the terms on the table, but has now agreed to spend a further 12 months with the Gills.
He has made 88 appearances for the Gills since originally joining on loan from Queens Park Rangers in 2007 and was a key figure in the club's promotion to League One last season.
Meanwhile, Gillingham youngsters Andy Pugh, Luis Cumbers, Tom Wynter and Luke Rooney have also signed new one-year contracts.
