Beckford: On target again
Leeds United extended their lead at the top of League One with an emphatic 4-0 win over Yeovil at Elland Road.
Bradley Johnson opened the scoring for the Whites, before on-loan Max Gradel, Jermaine Beckford and Tresor Kandol completed the rout.
Leeds are now seven points clear at the top of the table, after promotion rivals Charlton went down 3-1 away at Carlisle.
Ian Harte scored the opener for the Cumbrians, with Deon Burton equalising for the Addicks on the stroke of half time, but a brace from Graham Kavanagh after the break sealed the win.
MK Dons move into third after they beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 at Stadium: MK - Peter Leven scored first for the Dons and the points looked secure when Jason Puncheon scored on 90 minutes, although there was still time for Darryl Duffy to bag a consolation.
Another late goal at the New Den saw Millwall scrape a comeback win against Colchester, 2-1 the final score.
Anthony Wordsworth had opened the scoring for the visitors, but goals from Alan Dunne and an injury time strike from James Henry earned three points for the Lions.
Norwich consolidated their position in the play-off places with a 3-1 win at Stockport, who slip into the relegation zone after the defeat.
A double from Grant Holt and a penalty from Wes Hoolahan was enough for the Canaries, with Peter Thompson on the scoresheet for County.
Brighton and Hartlepool played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Withdean Stadium. A brace from Nicky Forster and an effort from Liam Dickinson gave Brighton a point, with goals from Adam Boyd, Andy Monkhouse and Ritchie Jones ensuring a stalemate.
Tranmere remain deep in the relegation mire after being thrashed 4-1 by Swindon at Prenton Park.
Chris Shuker scored a consolation for Rovers, although two from Billy Painter, and strikes from Anthony McNamee and Simon Ferry heaped more woe on the home side.
Wycombe are the only club below Tranmere in the table, after they lost 3-2 at home to Walsall.
Scott Davies' brace was not enough for the Chairboys, as goals from Steve Jones, Mark Hughes and Alex Nicholls move Walsall up into the top half.
Leyton Orient and Southampton played out a 2-2 draw at Brisbane Road, with two second half goals from Ricky Lambert salvaging a point for the Saints.
A strike from Tamika Mkandawire and a Neal Trotman own goal had looked to be enough for Orient, although the away side fought back to draw.
Elsewhere, two of last year's promoted clubs went head-to-head as Exeter beat Brentford 3-0 at St James' Park.
Bertrand Cozic opened the scoring for the Grecians, before Steve Tully and Craig Noone wrapped up the win.
