Mooney: Staying in London
Charlton have confirmed that David Mooney has extended his loan spell at The Valley by an additional month.
The striker was due back at Reading after next Tuesday's League One trip to Brighton, but he admitted earlier on Thursday that he was keen to stay in London.
Mooney, who has scored two goals in his last six matches, has now had his wish granted and will remain at Charlton until the end of December.
The 25-year-old has been in form for the promotion-chasing Addicks after netting his goals in the club's last two home games.
Manager Phil Parkinson will therefore be pleased to have agreed the extension, although Championship side Reading do have a 24-hour recall option.
Youngster Alex Stavrinou has also left Charlton after joining Ebbsfleet United on a one-month loan.
