Swindon Town's on-loan defender Alan Sheehan is enjoying regular football for the League One outfit.

The Leeds stopper is currently at the County Ground after falling out of favour under Simon Grayson at Elland Road.

The former Leicester defender, who spent time with Oldham earlier in the season, has started and won both of his games for Swindon.

The 23-year-old feels he has settled quickly at Swindon and has not ruled out staying when his loan expires on 4th January next year.

Enjoyment

"I'm enjoying it a lot and I'm fitting in quite well. It's good to be playing regular football," he told the club's official website.

"Obviously it's great to be settled now because it's been a difficult year for me as I went from first choice at Leeds to not being involved at all.

"The team spirit is great and I've been made to feel very welcome. The most important thing for me is to be getting out and playing football again, and I'm happy with the way things have started down here.

"The manager has a lot of ambition, as do the players. You get a feeling around the place that the boys don't want to be in this league much longer, which is the way it should be."
