Norwich and Leeds will be hoping to extend the gap on third-placed Charlton away from home against Brighton and Leyton Orient, respectively.

Norwich lost their long unbeaten run at Millwall last time out and manager Paul Lambert will be keen to return to wining ways against relegation-threatened Brighton.

Leeds dropped points late on to Hartlepool last weekend and followed that up by losing on penalties to Carlisle in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The Whites were held to a late 2-2 draw at Brisbane Road last season and Leeds will be hoping to go one better this time around against Leyton Orient and keep pace with the Canaries.

Charlton will have to wait until Monday night to maintain the pressure on the leading duo when they travel to the Memorial Ground to do battle with Bristol Rovers.

In-form Colchester can leapfrog the Addicks into third in the table if they claim all three points against rock-bottom Stockport at Edgeley Park.

Rivals

Swindon remain one of the division's hottest sides and they can go one step further to cementing their play-off spot with success over rivals Huddersfield Town.

Millwall will be looking to make it five consecutive League One wins on the bounce against relegation candidates Exeter City at The Den.

Milton Keynes Dons' form has been patchy of late and they will find it tough going against a Carlisle United side boosted by their progress to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.

Walsall will be hoping to keep their fading play-off prospects alive against an Oldham side who are now joint-level with third-from-bottom Tranmere after losing to Swindon on Tuesday.

Wycombe are six points adrift of safety and will need to start picking up points fast if they are to avoid a swift League Two return - starting with a trip to Brentford this weekend.

There is a relegation six-pointer at Roots Hall as Southend take on Tranmere in Essex, while Yeovil's clash with Gillingham makes up this weekend's programme.
