Friday's encounter between Colchester United and Carlisle United is the first match of a full programme of League One fixtures.

Dagenham & Redbridge have endured defeat in their opening two matches this campaign and will be eager to put that right versus Tranmere Rovers.

Charlton sit third in the early League One table after a bright beginning to the season, and Phil Parkinson's charges lock horns with Huddersfield, who were beaten 5-1 by Everton in the Carling Cup on Wednesday.

Yeovil Town seemingly face a tough task when they travel to Oldham Athletic, who are looking decent to date and currently lie second in the standings.

Plymouth Argyle will attempt to bounce back from their first loss of the season as they welcome Peterborough United to Home Park.

Brentford and Rochdale are both yet to win this term, and the pair go head-to-head at Griffin Park in a bid to resolve those records.

Elsewhere, Bristol Rovers face Southampton, MK Dons are in action against Swindon Town, while Exeter City travel to Leyton Orient.
