Champions-elect Swansea dominate the team of the season with five selections.
Angel Rangel, Garry Monk, Andy Robinson, Ferrie Bodde and striker Jason Scotland have all been chosen to represent their division by the PFA.
Scotland, whose goals have propelled the Swans to the brink of promotion to the Championship, forms a mouth-watering strike partnership with Leeds hitman Jermaine Beckford.
Carlisle's Kieren Westwood is chosen in goal and lines up alongside teammate Danny Livesey in defence.
Nottingham Forest's Julian Bennett and Kris Commons have also been picked while Doncaster midfielder Richie Wellens completes the line-up.

Hey as a Spurs fan I would love to see Leeds get promoted this season,I think as most fairminded people do that leeds fans have suffered enough, you are way too big to be in league one and also the championship too.To also to recover from a fifteen point deficit is admirable and as said on here no other club in that divsion could have recovered from that.It may be unfair to the other clubs however I shall be pleased if you get your points back today!!

If Leeds are such a big club and deserve to be in Premiership like most Leeds fans would have you believe, why do YOU say it will take you 5 seasons just to go up 2 divisions? Just curious...

It sounds to me that all the other fans have got one thing on their mind, which is that we should be knocked down a peg because we are a big club. As a Leeds fan I am pround of what we have achieved this season. I think we should have been punished, the same as everyone else who goes into administration, which means a deduction of TEN POINTS. To then give a vote to the other chairmen in the league was simply rediculous. I think that it's got far too late in the season, and as the football league hoped, we are in the playoff places. It's a shame that the achievement of the team to reverse the 15 points and reach 6th spot will be overlooked because of this points farce. (Which I might point out is the League's doing) If they'd have made a decision either way at the start of the season at least we could all get on with it. Yes, we are a big club, but that doesn't mean we don't deserve to be up there now. We have EARNED only a single point less than Swansea. So, 15 points or not, we have been truly great this season. The truth is we ARE a big club, just look at the attendance week in week out. I reckon Swansea should still have got the cup on Saturday, and I also reckon people should realise we deserve a fair punishment of 10 points, as standard.

Is it just me or do Leeds United think that the world revolves around them, the facts are that your chairman is playing you all for mugs, i hear he is opening the top tear for the first time this season for a party when you get your 15 points back and automatic promotion, WRONG he wants to take more of your money before the end of the season, i think he's got his eye on another boat. Leeds are living in the past and think they are something they are not (a good team) it's time you got over yourselves even Man Utd don't include you in their song anymore. Carlisle have had their bad times 4 years ago we were in the conference league, about the same time you were playing in the champions league so don't come crying to us about 15 points. Congrats Swansea and probs Donny.

How can Leeds fans say they dominated the league when if they add 15 points they r still second- dominate would mean be 14 points clear- if swansea hadnt hiccupped with the last few weeks they wouldnt hv to wait to beat brighton on saturday! Yes leeds have done well and they will be second to swansea if they get their points back- odd they didnt contest it until the end of the season very odd! i thought that clubs were penalised if they behaved illegally an leeds did and were why are they complaining? Other clubs had points taken off them! Leeds had a good season Swansea a better one!!! Come on the whites!!! For hard men they do a lot of whingeing!

Blimey....even this column is dominated by Leeds fans.....apart from some rubbish from a red across the the border, or most proberbly a cockney. Well done Swansea...really....why have a go...we'll be playing you next year. We'll see then who can step up a Division!! Can't understand the attitude. Leeds are and were the only club who could achieve the play offs this season from -15. By the way.......Leeds came out in the top 10 best known English clubs outside the UK. Not bad for League 1. (Mktg Mag) The rest of the league just can't get their heads around it. 15 points back or not we'll be back in the Premiership within 5 seasons.....

I agree that sometimes our football was scrappy but under Mac we have tried to play decent football. Swansea by far have been the ost outstanding team in the division, but all in all if you took the 15 points out of the picture we'd be second. As for not desrving to be in the play-offs even Martinez conceded that we should be there (Before we secured the points). Ultimately the decision of this panel does not just affect Leeds but also potentially Bournemouth, Luton and Rotherham and who knows who else who will go into administration over the next few seasons.(Could be any of the teams digging at Leeds). Would you really like to see Luton slip out of the league and possible oblivion. You may all hate Leeds we don't care we're used to it but do try to think of the igger picture. As for the team of the year who cares it's not going to get us promoted.

As a Leeds fan I have to admit Swansea have played the best football in the league this year and deserve a good few players in the league 1 team. However, I'm surprised Marques isn't in the team as I think he's not only easily the best leeds player this season but probably the best player in our league. To all the Swansea fans though, how come all of your posts are directed at leeds fans complaining. I'm sure if the points were given back and we won the league not one of your fans would utter a complaint, as you're all such good sports.

who is this pompose person called Swansea Jack. Been near extinction for so many decades and then suddenly they hit the big time. Remember last time 4th division to 1st division and back down again in was it 8 years ? How do they survive on small crowds in the back streets of a small country. I am getting really fed up and disallusioned with football because everyone is have a go at Leeds United for trying to get the 15 points back. if they have done something wrong then deduct the 15 points. if the FA have got all the evidence then why has the decision not been made. Leeds wanted the hearing to be public but no the FA decided against it . Who has got something to hide ? The FA are the ones in the wrong. This decision should not have dragged on for so long so GET OFF THE BACKS OF LEEDS UNITED AND GET ON THE BACKS OF THE FA. The FA thought this problem would go away as then did not anticipate Leeds being anywhere near the play offs but it could come back to bite them. Scenrio Leeds get the 15 points back win the last match and Swansea loose. Leeds are CHAMPIONS . Nice thought Swansea Jack

I completley agree with Derek Lacey, Leeds won the first five games and got back to zero, so granted, those points are theirs. The football league has these rules for a reason, Leeds broke the rules, so they pay the penalty. Leeds have some kind of complex where they truly think they are still a big club. WRONG. Your a league one club, you will NOT get your points back, and will be in the playoffs. And just for the leeds fan, who said Leeds beat all the top sides, yeah, you did, but if youd also like to check your results, you also lost to four of those sides, Swansea, Carlisle, Doncaster, and Southend, and Forest took a point. Does that still make you better than us because you were once a premiership team? Think you'll find it doesnt

RE: Derek Lacey "You only wanted the points back when you started losing games and realised you needed a little help." That's why we've been trying to get them back all season.... Rather than miquoting and misreading every little attention to detail, maybe you should look at how many points, wins, goals (for & against) Leeds have achieved this season.... More than Carlisle & Doncaster. I taste a little fear in your petit choice words... Even Leeds fans would admit Swansea deserve to be champions but considering all the staffroom changes, fair play to Leeds for keeping their eyes on the prize!

I watched Swansea when they played us at our place and they turned us over 4-0, I have to say they were comfortably the best side we played this year. forest were terrible, by there own admission. Leeds were average, thats all. You cjeated, you bent the rules to suit yourselves and when you were winning early season you weren't moaning, then just like you always do, you blame evreryone else and other things and try and cheat your way up. Forset, Carlisle, Swansea have all played fair. YOU cheated, and are trying to cheat again. Stop living in the past, you used to be a big club now you are an overhyped club with fans who think you are bigger than you are. Face facts, you are in the 3rd tier of English football, you are no giant. 10 years ago good, now.... very average.

(Derek Lacey 3-2 on the reverse) Why do Swansea fans think they are worthy champions? Is it because they played better football than all the teams below them and got more points, yes. Of course it is and I agree because the table and matches they played don't lie. It's not because they didn't contest a 15pt penalty or humbly accepted one, because they weren't put in that position. How many fans out there honestly think they or their beloved teams would have just taken it? I totally agree with Leeds for going to court over the 15pts because if we win them back, it means nobody else will have to suffer that penalty in similar circumstances. and if we don't, well, we tried and still have the chance to go up despite it. We are all expected to hail all the other teams for their valiant efforts in this league but no other fanbase can say that Leeds have done well purely on the grounds they have earned a play-off place and had a good defence and strike record.

Swansea dominate the pick of the season on merit. They have been out-performing allcomers all season and with only an occasional hiccup, deserve to win the league. I hope Leeds don't get their points back, but scamper thru in the Playoffs. There, I am a rare breed, a Leeds fan who doesn't think we should get anything back, but hope to justify our place in the Championship next season on the pitch and not in the courts.

Clive Morris (Leeds United fan) says...
Im a Leeds fan but heres how they should have chosen the 11. The 2 strikers picked are correct. Both have scored more league goals than any other strikers in the division, and both play for the 2 teams who scored the most goals. The goalkeeper and defenders should have been chosen from Forest, Leeds and Doncaster as they all have the strongest defensive records, they have conceeded the least goals in the league. The midfielders should maybe have been picked based on pass completion, successful crosses and goals scored, but I don't know who they are. Leeds have been given virtually no credit for earning a playoff place, which they have earned without this so called cheating that some other people have said on here. Leeds are the 2nd Highest scoring team in lg1, 11 goals less than swansea, and have the 2nd best defensive record in lg1, 7 more goals conceeded than forest. Leeds are joint top with swansea on wins, have lost just 1 more game than swansea and forest, and without the deduction, we would be 2nd on points aswell. This SHOULD have merited leeds with a couple more players in the 11, and SHOULD have gained more praise from the media. I'd like for Leeds to now either go up via the playoffs, or to get enough points back to go up automatically, and for southend to go up via the playoffs because they seemed to have just kept quiet and gotten on with the job in hand, unlike the others in the top 6 who have just moaned about Leeds all the time. The other factor is Leeds uniteds amazing attendances this season. Most of our away games have seen the opposition team have their highest attendance of the season, and Elland Road has been the only ground to hold over 30'000 fans this season, on more than 1 occasion, some Premier League teams didn't even get the attendances we got this season. I love my club, and I will carry on being 1 of THOUSANDS of great fans that we have! MARCHING ON TOGETHER!

The PFA awards are voted for by the players from the 4 divisions - people who know about football. The attitude of Leeds fans this year has been a disgrace. What a pleasure it was to see the Swans travel trough the city on the open top bus tonight to be acknowledged as worthy champions of League 1 by 1000s of passionate fans. We've done our job this year and have got the just rewards for playing the best football in the league. A fitting end to the season will be seeing the mighty Leeds lose the play off semi final and be consigned to at least another year (and hopefully more) in the league which they have totally disrespected this year. THE JACKS ARE UP!

At the end of the day, the league table doesn't lie. Swansea are the best team in league One, with a game to play. If you look at the stats, then Leeds are right up there with them (games w/d/l, goals etc). As Leeds fans, we all know that everyone hates us, and that's what makes us so good, we all stick together, and that has been proved through the good and the very bad times over the last few years. Leeds are a massive club, how many other teams in the championship and league one get 30,000+ a week? Sounds to me like sour grapes. I'll take the playoffs, we are in cracking from, Elland Road will be stacked out, and we can beat any team in this league. None of the other teams in the play off places will want to meet us and that's a fact. WE ARE GOING UP

Would any other team in this division do as good as us if they had 15 points deducted ? Not a chance .. We are the best supported team in the the football league .. Hey swansea muppets, whats your average gate ? Oh dear under 12,000.. You`re all jealous of the Mighty Leeds .. thats why you voted to take the 15 points . so you thought we`d have no chance of promotion .. well LOOK where we are !! In playoffs .. soon to be at wembley .. Championship here we come ... MARCHING ON TOGETHER
