Tangerines manager Simon Grayson admits he could be without Danny Coid and David Vaughan for the showdown with Preston.

Full-back Coid was ruled out of Saturday's 1-0 home defeat against Ipswich due to a hamstring injury, while midfielder Vaughan was substituted at half-time after picking up a calf strain.

Preston manager Alan Irvine insists he has a 'very strong squad' for the clash.

Irvine, indeed, could have some selection issues with a number of players coming back into contention.

Richard Chaplow is set to return into central midfielder, with Billy Jones dropping back into defence.
