Blackpool are set to hold talks with Marlon Harewood as they look to bring the former Aston Villa man to Bloomfield Road.
As revealed by skysports.com last week Harewood was training with the Premier League new boys as Ian Holloway looks to bolster his attacking options.
Holloway has been frustrated in the transfer market this summer, but is hoping to agree a deal with free agent Harewood.
Harewood has been impressed Holloway during training and his agent, Phil Sproson, has confirmed the former West Ham is set to discuss a possible move to Blackpool.
"We are set to have talks with Blackpool over a possible deal and we will be going into discussions with an open mind," Sproson told skysports.com.
"Marlon has done well in training and he has been impressed by Ian Holloway and the players up at Blackpool.
"We will now see what is on offer and we will see how it develops over the next 48 hours."
