Manager Terry Skiverton was happy with a draw in a dour encounter of few chances between Tranmere and Yeovil at Prenton Park.
The wet conditions were never going to make it easy. Perhaps the best chance of the game came three minutes from time when Town substitute Kieran Agard raced clear but David Raven got back to make a last-ditch tackle.
"It is a tough place to come. We had to stand up to the challenge and I have got to be happy with the outcome," said Skiverton, who is looking to add to his squad when the loan window re-opens next week. "Tranmere are a decent side and we limited them to just a few chances. It is our first clean sheet, which is very positive. To be fair, we haven't been far away in previous games.
"Possibly we should have come away with all three points but it was not to be. But there was a great response from the players. They are going through the pain barrier for me at the moment and I am very proud of them.
"We must build on the momentum of this draw. There is still work to do. Prenton Park has been a good hunting ground for me and I am really pleased to come here again and not be beaten."
Skiverton added: "I am happy with the squad but I will definitely have to add to it. However, I am in no rush."
