Oldham have completed a move for veteran striker Shefki Kuqi following his release by Newcastle at the end of last season.
The 34-year-old, who has been without a club since being shown the St James' Park exit door, has penned a deal to stay until the end of the season.
The Finnish forward, who has won 62 caps for his country, played alongside manager Paul Dickov at Blackburn.
