Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp says Norwich are now vying with Swansea to loan defender Steven Caulker for next season.

The 19-year-old stopper impressed at Bristol City last term and now two of the Premier League's newest sides want to snap him up this summer.

Swansea had already expressed their interest in the teenager, something Redknapp has confirmed, although he has also admitted Norwich have joined the chase.

Redknapp is happy loaning out Caulker again in order to increase his first-team experience, but he refused to name where the rising talent will be playing next term.

Future

"We think Caulker's got a great future, but I would be happy to loan him out," revealed Redknapp.

"He played at Bristol City last year on loan, did really well and had a great season for them.

"And I know Swansea want him - but so do Norwich and there are a couple of clubs in there."
