Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers had no complaints after watching his side lose 4-1 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Welsh side have only ever won once at Stamford Bridge, back in 1925 and, although Fernando Torres was sent off for the Blues in the first half, the hosts were never under any serious amount of sustained pressure, as the Swans created a number of decent opportunities in front of goal without really threatening.

A brace from the impressive Ramires, as well as a late Didier Drogba goal, made the game safe despite Ashley Williams' consolation goal for the visitors.

But Rodgers admitted it was tough playing against such a 'world-class side' although he remained proud of his side's overall display.

He told Sky Sports News: "There are no complaints. Chelsea are a world-class outfit and we understand that.

"We always knew it was going to be a difficult task.

"I'm very proud of the players over the way they've opened up the season so far and, like I say, games like today won't be defining our season."
