Wycombe climbed to the top of League Two after a convincing 3-1 win over rivals Grimsby.

Previous leaders Leyton Orient were held at home 2-2 by lowly Stockport - which allowed Wycombe to leapfrog them and Grimsby.

Wycombe - the only undefeated side in England - continued their excellent run and took the lead after 20 minutes through Charlie Griffin.

Matt Bloomfield (36) extended their lead before Michael Reddy fired home just a minute later to give the visitors hope, but Wycombe secured the win late in the second half through Roger Johnson.

Orient threw away two leads as they were held by Stockport at Brisbane Road.

Michael Raynes (24) put through his own net to give The O's a half time lead, but Rob Clare levelled (56).

John Mackie put the East London outfit back in front on 63 minutes, only for Jermaine Easter to level matters a minute later.

Rochdale, in fourth, came from behind to seal a 2-2 draw with sixth-placed Chester at Spotland.

The visitors found themselves 2-0 to the good with Phil Bolland (20) and Ben Davies (64) scoring, but Dale came back as Blair Sturrock (69) fired home before Rickie Lambert (82) secured a share of the spoils.

Carlisle United are now within touching distance of the top three after they beat Oxford 2-1 at Brunton Park.

Raphael Nade (17) put Carlisle ahead before the free-scoring Karl Hawley found the net once again just before the hour (57). Lee Bradbury pulled one back in the final minute, but it was no more than a consolation for Oxford.

Northampton's 4-0 drubbing of Bristol Rovers saw them climb into the play-off spots.

Andy Kirk's first half brace (34 pen & 43) set The Cobblers on their way before Martin Smith (48) and Pedrag Bojic (90) added two more in the second period.

Northampton took Wrexham's spot in the top seven after the Welshmen played out a 1-1 draw with Peterborough.

Danny Crow fired The Posh ahead on the hour, but Sagi Burton put into his own net ten minutes later to give Wrexham the draw.

Notts County moved into the top half of the table with a 2-1 win at Boston.

Goals from Glynn Hurst (7) and Andy White (82) sandwiched an effort from Jason Lee (49) to give The Magpies victory.

Mansfield sunk into the bottom two after their game at Shrewsbury was postponed after their goalkeeping coach Peter Wilson collapsed during the pre-match warm-up.

The game at Gigg Lane between Bury and Rushden was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
