Grimsby thrashed Rochdale 4-1 at Blundell Park to move up to second in League Two and Wycombe stayed on top after maintaining their unbeaten record with a 1-1 draw at home to Boston.
Grimsby hit four goals in the last 25 minutes through Gary Jones (67), Gary Cohen (69), Rob Jones (74) and Michael Reddy (90) to thrash Rochdale 4-1 at Blundell Park. Richard Lambert (27) had put Dale ahead in the first half with his 12th of the season.
Matt Bloomfield struck with 19 minutes to go to maintain Wycombe's unbeaten league record against ten-man Boston. Boston had taken the lead through Francis Green (21) and Stewart Talbot received his marching orders for two bookable offences right on half time.
Eric Sabin (41) hit the winner for Oxford in a 2-1 win over Cheltenham after Steve Basham (9) had put them ahead before the home side equalised through Stephen Guinan (11).
Stuart Drummond's strike on the stroke of half time gave Chester all three points at Brisbane Road against Leyton Orient. Chester close the gap on Orient as they move up to fourth.
Carlisle hit four at Rushden, goals from Derek Holmes(19), Karl Hawley (32), Chris Lumsdon (65) and Michael Bridges (90) sealed a superb away win.
Shrewsbury had a comfortable 3-1 win over Darlington thanks to goals from Mark Stallard (8), Neil Sorvel (51) and Neil Ashton (68). Phil Stamp had equalised for Darlington just before the break.
Richard Walker's penalty after 35 minutes was enough to give Bristol Rovers the points away at Stockport.
Torquay rescued a crucial point in a six-goal thriller at Plainmoor against Northampton. Kevin Hill equalised in the final minute and Tony Bedeau (56) and Jo Kuffour were also on the scoresheet for the bottom club. The Northampton goals came through Scott McGleish (21,67) and Junior Mendes (77).
Wrexham thrashed Mansfield 4-1 after four second-half goals from Danny Williams (49), Lee McEvilly (53), Jonathan Walter (61) and Mark Jones (87). Richie Barker had given the Stags the lead on 41 minutes.
Peterborough defeated Notts County 2-0 through strikes from Ryan Semple (41) and Calum Willock (57).
