Lambert: Late success
Super-sub Oli Johnson scored a late double to keep Norwich on top of League One following a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Southend at Carrow Road.
Johnson notched twice in 12 minutes for Paul Lambert's men after Scott Vernon had given the visitors an early lead.
A second-half Luciano Becchio brace was enough to keep second-placed Leeds in the hunt as they saw off Oldham 2-0.
Charlton were unable to take advantage of Colchester's game with Brentford being postponed as they went down 2-1 to Brighton.
Inido Calderon gave the visitors the lead after 36 minutes before Elliot Bennett rounded off an unlikely victory for Gus Poyet's men.
Huddersfield managed to maintain their place in the play-off race with a 2-0 win against struggling Tranmere, Lee Novak scoring both goals.
At the other end of the table, Exeter's match against Bristol Rovers was postponed and Wycombe took advantage by gaining an unlikely goalless draw against in-form Southampton.
Basement side Stockport suffered another defeat as they were swept aside 4-1 by Swindon. Billy Paynter scored twice to keep the Robins in the hunt for a play-off spot..
A Sam Williams strike after five minutes sealed a 1-0 win for Yeovil against Walsall, which moved his side away from the relegation zone.
Elsewhere, Tamika Mkandawire earned Leyton Orient a 1-1 draw at Gillingham after Chris Dickson opened the scoring for the hosts.
Millwall eased to a 3-1 victory over MK Dons, with Neil Harris bagging a brace and Hartlepool hammered Carlisle 4-1, with Ritchie Jones scoring twice.
