Wycombe moved level on points with Carlisle at the top of the table with a 2-0 win over Shrewsbury.
Matt Bloomfield sent the home side on their way with the opener on 15 minutes and Russell Martin sealed the win with the second on 73 minutes.
Grimsby remain in third after a convincing win over Barnet at Blundell Park.
A quick-fire double from Gary Jones (39, 41) put the home side in control and Paul Bolland added a third right on the stroke of half time.
Torquay climbed off the bottom of the table with a 1-0 win over Peterborough. Tony Bedeau grabbed the only goal of the game on 65 minutes to give Torquay all three points
Stockport moved out of the bottom three with a 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Oxford.
Adam Le Fondre's late penalty gave The Hatters the points after Tim Sills had cancelled Tes Bramble's early opener for Stockport.
Rusden & Diamonds slumped to the bottom despite earning a 2-2 draw at Lincoln.
Simon Yeo gave Lincoln the lead on 22 minutes, but two goals in two minutes from John Turner (82) and Simeon Jackson (84) turned the game on its head.
Jamie McCombe grabbed a last-gasp equaliser for Lincoln in the final minute to deny Rushden all three points.
Leyton Orient boosted their promotion hopes with a 1-0 win over Cheltenham with Paul Connor netting the winner after 23 minutes.
Ten-man Darlington piled the misery on struggling Chester with a 1-0 victory. Shelton Martis scored the only goal of the game after Clark Keltie was sent off for the home side.
Notts County moved into the top half of the table with a 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers. Steve Scoffham's 74th minute goal earned the three points for County after Lewis Haldane had cancelled out Daniel Chillingworth's early opener for The Magpies.
Macclesfield suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Rochdale to leave them still looking over their shoulders.
Rory McArdle broke the deadlock on 27 minutes and Iyseden Christie added a second on 49 minutes. John Miles pulled a goal back for Macclesfield on 56 minutes, but Ricky Lambert made sure of the win with a third for Rochdale, seven minutes from time.
Mansfield were the biggest winners of the day with a 5-0 victory over Boston.
Richard Barker opened the floodgates two minutes before the break and an own goal from Mark Greaves doubled the lead two minutes after half time.
Danny Reet made it 3-0 on 51 minutes and further goals from Gus Uhlenbeek and Simon Brown (penalty) rounded off a good day for The Stags.
Bury picked up a point in their battle against relegation with a goalless draw at Wrexham.
