Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury was disappointed his side could not salvage a draw after a 2-1 defeat at Carlisle.

Carlisle seized the advantage four minutes after the break when Tom Taiwo latched on to a free-kick at the far post before Bournemouth levelled on the hour-mark when Jon Paul McGovern's tackle on Steve Lovell was penalised and Harry Arter convincingly beat Adam Collin from the spot.

A great cross from on-loan Newcastle defender James Tavernier found Curran at the far post and he restored Carlisle's lead in the 77th minute with a left-footed finish.

Bradbury said: "We made the better chances and could have had three or four goals. They got the better of us for 20 minutes, but we passed well and created some good chances. We deserved a point, but it's not chances that win you games, it's chances in the net."

The Chariots boss is determined to take action sooner rather than later to fill the gap up front left by the departure of Danny Ings.

"I want to get things sorted as soon as possible," he said. "We've lost Danny and it was good to have Stevie Lovell back looking sharp and hungry but we need options."
