Bradbury: Bemoans bad defending
Lee Bradbury says Bournemouth should have claimed maximum points after they were thumped 3-0 at home by fellow strugglers Chesterfield.
Goals either side of half-time by Frenchman Alex Mendy and Craig Westcarr set up the win before Leon Clarke grabbed a third with a 71st-minute tap in.
Yet Bradbury claimed: "It should be us who are celebrating. We created four or five good chances, but came up against a goalkeeper (Tommy Lee) in inspired form. He made some cracking saves.
"It was annoying that when we conceded the first goal, we'd got a firm foothold in the game and didn't want half-time to come.
"The second half was so different to the first.
They pushed us back and, though we created chances, we missed them and didn't defend well."
Bradbury had a special word for new signing Wes Thomas, who has initially joined the Cherries on a three-month loan from Crawley, adding: "I thought Wes did fantastically well. He was probably our best player."
