League Two Round-Up

Grimsby Town missed the chance to go clear at the top of League Two, as they conceded a late goal to draw 2-2 with Rochdale.

Russell Slade's side took the lead through a Ciaran Toner penalty on 24 minutes, but a Simon Ramsden strike (52) drew the home side level.

Grimsby looked to have snatched a win when Paul Bolland scored with eight minutes to go, but Rickie Lambert (pictured) ensured they only pulled level with Carlisle United at the top of the table, as he scored deep into injury time.

Cheltenham Town prevented Wrexham from making up ground on the play-offs, as they held the Welsh outfit to another 2-2 draw.

The Robins are in sixth place themselves, but went behind inside 60 seconds when Matt Derbyshire scored for the visitors.

The striker grabbed a second just after the hour mark, but by then, Cheltenham had scored twice through Grant McCann (35) and Steve Guinan (56).

At the other end of the table, Bury moved one point clear of the bottom two, as they drew 1-1 with fellow strugglers Oxford United.

The Shakers took the lead through a Tom Kennedy penalty (68), but Oxford equalised three minutes later through Andy Burgess.
