Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates is planning talks with Josh Klein-Davies as he looks to sign a new striker.

Klein-Davies has been training with the Robins and started the club's friendly defeat by Premier League side Wolves on Friday evening.

The former Bristol Rovers forward spent last season with Weston-super-Mare and may be offered a return to the Football League by Cheltenham.

Yates will speak to the 21-year-old regarding a possible deal and he hopes to secure a new forward within the next few days.

"It's fair to say it's decision time for Josh and I'll have a chat with him," said Yates.

"I thought he did alright considering he was up against Mouyokolo and, of course, Matt Hill who is an experienced defender.

"I'm hoping to have something sorted with the striker, one way or the other, in midweek."
