Yates rues poor Robins defence

Cheltenham manager Mark Yates bemoaned his team's generous defence after the Robins slipped to a 4-1 defeat at AFC Wimbledon.
Goals from Ricky Wellard, Jack Midson and Rashid Yussuff, along with a Steve Elliot own goal, condemned Cheltenham to only their second defeat in seven outings.
And that left Yates to reflect on a disappointing afternoon.
"I thought we were the better team for half-an-hour, but we conceded two poor goals and we have had to chase it," he said.
"We allowed them to show the ability we knew they had and we made too many bad decisions that led to goals, and that has ultimately cost us at the end of the day.
"The old adage of goals changing games certainly applied today because I thought the game was there to win in the first half until the lapses cost us."
