Phil Parkinson is keen to extend defender Liam Moore's loan deal from Leicester, saying the youngster is "improving all the time".

The 18-year-old joined at the start of the season on an initial one-month loan which is due to expire after Saturday's clash with Morecambe.

However, new boss Parkinson is eager to keep the right-back as he has started every game for City this campaign.

Parkinson told the club's official website: "Yes, we are going to be extending his loan.

"Liam's is a youth loan so there is a lot of flexibility allowed in such things like that. We feel that he has done well and that he is improving all the time. We'd like him to keep improving with us."
