Parkinson pushes for Hunt hunger

New Bradford boss Phil Parkinson has challenged defender Lewis Hunt to show the appetite to re-establish his place in the first team.
Hunt, who was told he could leave Valley Parade this summer, is yet to feature for the Bantams this term but could soon be recalled as defensive trio Steve Williams, Lee Bullock and Simon Ramsden have all been sidelined with injuries.
Parkinson told the Telegraph & Argus: "Lewis is the next player to go in [the team] if we get an injury at right-back or centre-half. That's why we need him fit and ready. We aren't in a position to let him go unless we get somebody in the other way.
"I want him to get his head down, get back up to speed and work hard for his own career. He needs to rediscover the appetite to play.
"Lewis has played a lot at this level before so there's no problem there.
"If he wants to move on, then it's something we can look at but we're certainly not trying to move him on."
