Bradford will celebrate Valley Parade's 125th anniversary as a sporting venue when they take on AFC Wimbledon next Saturday.
The Bantams, still chasing their first win under new manager Phil Parkinson, will host a pre-match party in the stadium's museum prior to the match.
Valley Parade first opened in September 1886 as the home of Manningham rugby club, who won the first ever Rugby League championship that year.
But a downturn in Manningham's fortunes prompted the club to switch to football and Bradford City were formed in 1903.
The Bantams had established themselves as one of the country's leading teams by 1911 when they lifted the FA Cup, which is to date their only major trophy win.
