Phil Parkinson believes Bradford can bounce back after a third consecutive loss left City without a win in his first five games in charge.

A superb 30-yard shot from striker Christian Jolley in the 57th minute secured a 2-1 win for AFC Wimbledon, leaving Bradford third from bottom of the League Two table and level on points with next-to-bottom Hereford.

However, Parkinson said: "When you look at the squad we have got that gives me hope for the games coming up because I believe we have got enough quality in the side to start getting results.

"I would be really worried if we didn't have that quality, but we have got to have a stronger mentality about us and work hard.

"After our 2-2 draw against Bristol Rovers in our last home match the fans clapped us off the field because they saw we had put in a real performance.

"Today I couldn't honestly say we did that. After Wimbledon's second goal there was almost an acceptance we were going to lose the game. I have played in struggling teams myself and I know we have got to pull together to get us out of the situation."
