Richardson: Making signings

Lloyd Kerry has agreed a permanent deal at Chesterfield after being released by Sheffield United.

The midfielder joined the Spireites on loan in February and scored twice in 13 appearances for the League Two club.

He has now accepted a return to Saltergate and is expected to sign a contract with Lee Richardson's side later this week.

Richardson has already brought in Robert Page and Paul Harsley for next season, and is likely to dip into the transfer market again.

A club statement read: "Further signings are imminent and details are expected to be revealed later this week of up to three more players.

"One of the signings is expected to be another experienced defender moving to Saltergate from a Championship club."
