Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy has bolstered his squad for next season by signing goalkeeper Barry Roche and winger Neil Wainwright on free transfers.
Roche, 26, has been an almost ever-present for Chesterfield for the past two seasons while Wainwright, 30, joins from Darlington, for whom he made more than 160 league appearances. Both have signed two-year deals.
McIlroy said: "Both players have Football League experience which is what we have been looking for and I look forward to working with them.
"I'm sure they will be excellent additions to our squad."
