Scott: Feels team needs to be more ruthless
Manager Andy Scott says Rotherham were not up to it defensively after they twice squandered a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 at Torquay.
Lewis Grabban and Richard Cresswell put Rotherham two-up in nine minutes in Saturday's League Two clash at Plainmoor and although Billy Bodin pulled one back for the Gulls two minutes later, a second from Grabban restored the visitors' two-goal advantage.
But Kevin Nicholson headed a second for Torquay before the break and Rene Howe fired the equlaiser from 12 yards two minutes after the restart.
Scott said: "There were a lot of chances and it was an exciting game, but not one that I would want to watch too many times.
"After we started so well, we allowed them back into the game twice, particularly after we went two goals ahead.
"You know that Martin's side will always come and attack and he will push people forward. We didn't deal with it, as a team, defensively.
"We need to be more ruthless as a group, defensively, making sure that everyone knows and does their job. That is the disapponting thing.
