Brentford boss Uwe Rosler is looking forward to his first season as a manager in English football.

A successful pre-season at Griffin Park, in which the Bees have picked up four wins in five games including a victory over Stoke and a draw with Watford, has whetted the former Manchester City striker's appetite for the forthcoming campaign.

"We are unbeaten in pre-season with and have only conceded two goals," he said.

"The players are enjoying themselves. I believe if you don't enjoy yourselves you won't go far.

"We need to sharpen up a few things but overall I'm very happy.

"I'm really looking forward to the season and I think the players are too."
