Challinor: Minor knee injury
Bury captain Dave Challinor is out for at least a fortnight after undergoing a minor knee operation.
Challinor suffered a knee injury during Bury's 2-0 win over Peterborough United on Saturday and was replaced after just four minutes.
He underwent surgery on Wednesday and Shakers boss Chris Casper expects his skipper to be out for around two weeks.
Casper told the club's official website: "It's disappointing, but there isn't a lot of damage in there, they are going to operate to clean it out and he should be back in training in two weeks."
The defender has started all 16 of the club's League Two games this season, with Bury currently 10th in the table.
