Hegarty: New contract
Grimsby midfielder Nick Hegarty has signed a new three-year contract which keeps him at the club until 2011.
The new deal is just reward for an impressive season for the 21-year-old, who has forced his way into manager Alan Buckley's first-team plans after spending a month on loan at York earlier this term.
He has gone on to make 30 appearances for The Mariners this term, scoring four goals.
The player made his debut for the club at the end of the 2004/5 campaign after joining on a free transfer from Sheffield Wednesday.
