Diagouraga: Looking for Bulls deal
On-loan midfielder Toumani Diagouraga has confirmed he is in talks with Hereford over a permanent deal.
Diagouraga joined the Bulls from Watford at the beginning of the season on a temporary basis and has impressed during their succesful promotion campaign - making 41 appearances and scoring two goals.
The Frenchman has since been released by the Hornets after his contract was not renewed and could now be set for a permanent switch to Edgar Street.
"All I wanted to do was play football and I played 41 league games, I think. I have very much enjoyed it," he told the Hereford Times.
"I am not sure what is happening for next season. I might be back at Hereford.
"There are a few discussions going on at the moment. Hopefully, it will all be sorted in the next couple of weeks. I am just glad we got promoted."
Meanwhile, top-scorer Theo Robinson has returned to Watford after a successful spell with the Bulls where he banged in 18 goals to help the Bulls progress to League One - but he wants to earn a first-team place at Vicarage Road.
Theo Robinson has reflected on an "exceptional season" on loan at Hereford and believes the experience has been a "good learning curve".
Robinson netted 18 goals for the Bulls in their promotion-winning campaign and has now returned to parent club Watford, where he hopes to be challenging for the first team next season.
He told the Hereford Times: "I am back at Watford next season and, hopefully, I will be knocking on the first-team door - that's my aim for the next eight to 12 months.
"It's been a good learning curve at Hereford and an exceptional season. I will keep talking to a few of the Hereford boys after each game to find out how they have done."
He added: "When I arrived in pre-season training, the club only had 10 players, so I knew I would get my chance. Hopefully, I have taken it.
"I have enjoyed my time at Hereford and I want to thank the fans for getting behind me."
