Niven: New deal
Chesterfield midfielder Derek Niven has signed a new one-year contract at the Recreation Ground.
The 24-year-old - signed from Premier League side Bolton in December 2003 - has appeared 201 times for the Spireites, scoring 16 goals.
Niven said: "I am looking forward to having another stab at getting promotion next season and think that Lee Richardson is a good manager who will lead us to success."
