McCracken: Inverness link
Wycombe defender David McCracken has told skysports.com he is not considering a move back to Scotland.
McCracken started his career with Dundee United before joining Wycombe last summer.
The Glaswegian has been linked with a switch back north but he insists he has no plans to make such a move.
"I think I'd like to move back up to Scotland towards the end of my career, but I'm not really bothered about going back at the moment," McCracken told skysports.com.
"I'd prefer to stay down here a few years yet and that would probably be the aim, to move back up to Scotland towards the tail end of my career and settle up there."
Inverness Caledonian Thistle are understood to be interested in McCracken but he maintains he is just focusing on plying his trade at Adams Park.
"You can't rule it out now and I've heard from a few people that it was in the press up in Scotland, but it could be just paper talk," he said.
"It would need to go through the club first and if it was a good enough offer and suited my family's situation then I'd have to take a look at it.
"At the moment I'm just concentrating on playing for Wycombe at the moment and that's all."
McCracken added: "When I came down (from Scotland) a lot of people were asking 'is there a big difference on the football side of it?' and to be honest there isn't that much.
"The quality is perhaps a wee bit better up in Scotland, but football doesn't really change that much and the move was more of a personal thing, as I wanted to come down to England and try it out really.
"I felt like I needed a wee break from Scotland at the time and Wycombe came in for me at the right time."
