Still: Happy with deals
League Two leaders Dagenham & Redbridge have snapped up Wesley Thomas and Peggy Lokando.
21-year-old striker Thomas has arrived from non-league Fisher Athletic and has been handed a three-year contract.
Lokando, an 18-year-old midfielder from Southend, has joined The Daggers on an initial one-month loan.
"Wesley Thomas is a boy I've known since he played for Waltham Forest youth. I tried to sign him a year ago from Thurrock but lost out to Fisher Athletic who paid £15,000 for him," said Daggers boss John Still.
"Ever since then I've monitored his progress and the chance has arisen for me to snap him up and that's what I've done on a three-year contract.
"He can play wide but is best down the middle. He's quick, direct and has a good scoring record."
On Lokando, he added: "Peggy is a player we've seen a little bit of and like what we see.
"He's another young and hungry player and will be a good squad addition for the month he's here."
Meanwhile, Dagenham have allowed Michael Alailie to join Fisher on loan.
