Experienced defender Richard Jackson has joined Hereford after being released by Luton.
Jackson arrives at Edgar Street on a one-year deal and could make his debut in the home game against Swindon on Friday night.
The 28-year-old became a free agent towards the end of August when his contract with Luton was terminated by mutual consent.
He had linked up with the Hatters on a free transfer last summer and made 29 appearances for the club.
Jackson previously had an eight-year spell with Derby after starting his career at Scarborough.
