Aldershot rescued their unbeaten home record with an astonishing three-goal fightback to draw 3-3 against Bury.

The visitors charged in front when Andy Bishop fired home Elliott Bennett's cross after 24 minutes, before a Paul Scott header doubled the advantage on the half hour mark.

Bishop and Bennett joined forces again after 57 minutes as striker Bishop bagged his second to give the Shakers a seemingly unassailable lead.

But the Shots fired back 12 minutes later and substitute Rob Elvins handed them a lifeline when he converted Kirk Hudson's cross just four minutes after coming off the bench.

A Scott handball in the box then handed the home side a penalty after 77 minutes, which Scott Davies duly converted.

And Daniel Hylton completed the Shots fightback two minutes later to knock a shellshocked Bury off the top of the League Two ladder.
