Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has signed a new two-year rolling contract at St James Park.

Tisdale took charge of Exeter in the summer of 2006 and led the club back into the Football League last season.

The Grecians have made an encouraging start to life in League Two and are currently seventh in the table after a five-match unbeaten run.

Tisdale told the Western Morning News: "I have had over two years at the club now.

"I don't readily look to jump about. I have long-term thoughts in my mind, so this makes it a little bit more long term because, at any one time, I still have two years ahead of me.

"I think it is a really exciting time for the football club - and I want to be here."
