Albert Jarrett has signed a deal with Gillingham that will keep him at the club until the end of the season.

The former Wimbledon, Watford and Brighton winger has been working on a month to month contract with the League Two side since arriving on trial over the summer.

His versatility has proven to be a great asset to the Gills this season, with the 24-year-old able to operate effectively on either flank.

He has helped Mark Stimson's side climb to the fringes of the play-off places and has been rewarded for a number of eye-catching displays.

Meanwhile, midfielder Rory Hill has become the latest youngster to leave Priestfield on loan.

The midfielder has joined Blue Square Premier side Salisbury City for a month after impressing during a two-match trial period earlier in the season.
