A late goal from Jon Nurse ended Aldershot's unbeaten home record as Dagenham came from behind to win 2-1 at the Recreation Ground.

Marvin Morgan had already had a goal disallowed when he set up the opener after 15 minutes. The forward chased the ball out to the right channel and, when Danny Hylton helped the cross on, Kirk Hudson lobbed Tony Roberts to score.

Having been under pressure for 25 minutes, Dagenham levelled when Anthony Charles' clumsy challenge on Paul Benson gave Solomon Taiwo the chance to curl a superb free-kick over the wall and inside the near post.

Ben Strevens and Hudson threatened with headers at the start of the second half, before Taiwo sent another teasing free-kick just wide.

Shots should have regained the lead 15 minutes from time when Hudson's cross found Morgan in space, but the summer signing screwed his shot wide.

Roberts then turned aside Hylton's volley and Morgan's close-range header flew inches wide before Nurse stole in at the far post to seal the points for the Daggers.
