Bournemouth suffered their first defeat on home soil but remain at the top of League Two after Rotherham conceded a last-gasp leveller.

Bournemouth's five-game winning streak on home turf was brought to a shuddering halt with Chesterfield triumphing 2-1 on the South Coast thanks to Drew Talbot's first-half double.

Rotherham, back under the guidance of Ronnie Moore, saw their hopes of taking over at the summit dashed by Gavin McCallum's late equaliser for Hereford after they looked on course for victory following Adam Le Fondre's early strike.

Steve Staunton will be aware of the task facing him as Darlington manager after watching his charges go down 2-0 to Dagenham & Redbridge with Danny Green and Josh Scott scoring twice in as many first-half minutes.

Thrashed

Accrington scored four goals in 14 second-half minutes as they thrashed Cheltenham 4-0, with Robert Grant grabbing a quick-fire brace.

Aldershot brushed aside Morecambe 4-1 at the Recreation Ground to keep up their play-off push with Kirk Hudson, Marvin Morgan and Louis Soares on target for the hosts.

Grimsby continue to struggle at the wrong end of the table with Burton Albion triumphing 2-1 at Blundell Park thanks to Andy Corbett and Jimmy Phillips.

Crewe edged a five-goal thriller against Bradford City at Valley Parade with Calvin Zola's brace and Steven Schumacher's second-half strike enough for the visitors.

Port Vale snapped their five-game winless run courtesy of a 1-0 success away to 10-man Shrewsbury Town, with Graham Coughlan dismissed for the hosts after John McCombe had opened the scoring.

Northampton hit back from two goals down to snatch a point at Bury with David Worrall and Ryan Lowe's efforts cancelled out by replies from Courtney Herbert and substitute Adebayo Akinfenwa.
