Torres: Injury blow
Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton fears on-loan winger Sergio Torres will be out for a 'long time' with an ankle injury.
Torres suffered the injury during last weekend's 1-1 draw with Cheltenham Town, although initial scans have shown there is no break.
The Argentine is due to undergo a further assessment of the problem, with reports suggesting Torres, who is on loan from Peterborough until the end of the season, will be out for six weeks with ligament damage.
"Until he's had his MRI scan, I can't say how long he'll be out for. Plus, some players recover quicker than others," Sutton told the Lincolnshire Echo.
"He's had one scan already, which revealed he hadn't broken anything.
"He's going to have another scan, which will give us a better idea of what we're dealing with.
"But the injury looks severe and it looks like he'll be out for a long time. I really feel for him because he's been excellent since he joined us."
