Burton boss Paul Peschisolido is lining-up replacements for Artur Krysiak after talks with the on-loan goalkeeper stalled.

The Poland Under-19 international is with the Brewers from Birmingham until January with a view to a permanent deal.

But talks with Krysiak and the player's agent have reached a stalemate so Peschisolido admits he has drawn-up a plan B.

"Artur remains my preferred choice as our long-term keeper and we have an agreement in place with Birmingham for him to join us on a permanent basis in January," he told the Burton Mail.

"But that's dependent on us agreeing personal terms with Artur and his representative, and so far they're playing hard ball.

"We'll keep talking in the hope that we can thrash something out, but I can't afford to sit around wondering whether I'm going to have a keeper in a few weeks' time.

"I've already spoken to a couple of Premier League clubs who both have highly regarded young keepers they are willing to let me have on loan."
