Rotherham United have drafted in winger Adam Rundle on an emergency one-month loan deal from League Two rivals Rochdale.

The Millers, who snapped up Gary Roberts last week, have moved to further strengthen their squad after midfielder Paul Warne suffered an ankle injury in Saturday's 2-0 win at Torquay.

Rundle, 25, who has also played for Darlington and Carlisle, is set to make his debut when Lincoln visit Don Valley on Tuesday.

"The lads have made me feel welcome straight away," Rundle told the club's official website.

"Obviously I knew a few of the lads from playing against them in my time, and everything went very well this morning. I know Adam Le Fondre from my Rochdale days and since Adam moved here we became best mates off the field.

"He has kept telling me how much he loves it here so it was nice to join up with him again today."

The move increases the number of dealings between the two clubs this term after Le Fondre moved from Rochdale for an undisclosed fee in August while Rotherham midfielder Jason Taylor moved the opposite way on a loan deal last week.
