Paul Buckle has admitted he will need to strengthen his squad if Torquay are to start climbing the table.

The Fourth-from-bottom Gulls have not won for seven league games following their 1-0 setback at Hereford.

Torquay's last win was the 1-0 success at home to the Bulls on Boxing Day and Buckle hopes to do business in the emergency loan window.

He said: "We haven't had an ounce of luck in five or six games, it's a difficult time for everyone involved.

"It's been very frustrating. The key to it is sticking to what you know and we need to add one or two."
