Barnet have been handed a boost with the FA upholding their appeal against Clovis Kamdjo's red card.

The 19-year-old received his marching orders with 10 minutes to play in Saturday's clash with Accrington for 'the denial of an obvious goalscoring opportunity' in bringing down Billy Kee in the area.

The score at Underhill was 1-1 at the time and, although goalkeeper Jake Cole saved the resulting penalty kick, Stanley went on to win the match 2-1.

After the successful appeal, Kamdjo will now be eligible for Saturday's trip to bottom club Darlington.

Barnet manager Ian Hendon told the club's official website: "At least this has been corrected, but the result stays.

"Whether we would have drawn or won the match is debatable, but there is no doubt that we would have had a better chance with 11 men rather than 10."
