Fulham midfielder Sam Saunders will remain at Lincoln for the remainder of the season after the two clubs agreed to extend his loan spell.

The 20-year-old's stay at Sincil Bank was set to end this week, but he will now be available to help the Imps continue their ascent towards safety in League Two.

Saunders has made 10 appearances for Lincoln with his first goals for the club coming in the 3-1 home win over Hereford last Friday night.

Lincoln are currently in 18th place in League Two, 11 points clear of second from bottom Grimsby Town.
