Chesterfield boss John Sheridan has been given a two-game touchline ban after being found guilty of misconduct by the FA.

Chesterfield boss John Sheridan has been given a two-game touchline ban after being found guilty of misconduct by the FA.

The charge relates to an incident during the Spireites' recent League Two clash against Notts County when Sheridan was sent to the stands.

Sheridan, who has also been fined £500, will be absent from the touchline for the games against Burton and Hereford.

Chesterfield are currently fifth in the League Two table as they bid for promotion.
