Chesterfield striker Martin Gritton has joined Torquay on a six-month loan deal.
The 32-year-old returns for a second spell at Plainmoor having netted 26 goals in 103 appearances for the Gulls between 2002 and 2004.
Gritton was given permission by the Spireites to play for Torquay in some pre-season friendlies and he scored in the 3-0 win over Weston-super-Mare on Wednesday night.
"I am looking forward to getting some regular football under my belt," Gritton told Chesterfield's official website.
